Residential Knox Box

Hollis Fire and Rescue recommends the use of Residential Knox Box's on all residences in town. The Knox box allows the Fire Department with access to a key to your residence in the event you are not home, or ever injured and unable to get to your door to let us in. Without a residential Knox box installed on your home, the Fire Department may, in the event of an emergency, need to force entry into your home to investigate the possibility of a fire, or if you are injured and cannot get to your door to let us in. This forced entry could cause damage to your property. The use of a Residential Knox Box would allow us access to your home without additional damage. These boxes are safe and secure, and can pay for themselves the first time they are used. Please click on the link below or visit us at the Fire Department for details.
