ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

to the Code Enforcement Officer

 

The Town of Hollis is seeking applicants for an Administrative Clerk to the Code Enforcement Officer. This is a part-time, 16 hours per week hourly position and is responsible for the following:

  1. Assist the Code Enforcement Officer by tracking status of open items, distributing information, compiling, preparing, and reviewing correspondence;

  2. Manage, create, and issue permits;

  3. Schedule inspections;

  4. Update information in database as required;

  5. Answering telephones and inquiries;

  6. Ordering office supplies;

  7. Overseeing maintenance of office equipment and communication devices;

  8. Manage financial transactions including fees and daily deposits to the Treasurer;

  9. Other office duties as requested.

Qualifications: 

  1. High school diploma;

  2. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel;

  3. Excellent typing and data entry skills;

  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills;

  5. The ability to work well with the public; and

  6. Successful completion of background check.

Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
