CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/BUILDING INSPECTOR

The Town of Hollis is now accepting applications for the position of CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/BUILDING INSPECTOR.  Experience in building construction and inspection is a prerequisite.  Basic computer skills are required.  The successful candidate will be responsible for technical and administrative work carrying out the activities of the Code Enforcement/Inspection Department, supervision of a Deputy Code Enforcement Officer and an Administrative Assistant.  Preference will be given to applicants who are certified as a Code Enforcement Officer under Maine's definition.  Applicants must attain certification as a local plumbing inspector within six months. Must possess a valid Maine Class C Driver's License and have a safe, reliable personal vehicle for work use.
