      b. Hicks and Seely attended crosswalk law training by Maine Local Roads last week. The Town will receive a free crosswalk lighted sign with flashing lights for River road crossing to the school/municipal complex.

      c. Hicks reports he will be in Augusta tomorrow to attend training on how to operate the speed sign that Poland Spring purchased for the Town of Hollis. It will be placed in problem areas.

      b. Statistics for CEO, ACO and FD/EMS:  Seely reports ACO had 20 calls last month-included one dead animal. Hollis FD - 35 medical transport calls last month 61% of calls are for medical transport, a 19% increase from last year.   CEO stats: fees have increased $55,000 from last year ($30,000).  


      c. Correspondence 

- The new Hollis Community Clothing Closet will be dedicated on June 24th, 2017.
 
- Attn All Hollis Residents: On Friday, June 9, 2017 the Town of Hollis will begin their re-evaulation and assessment of property taxes. These will be completed by Bob Dolloff or Shirley Bartlett.
 
- Hollis Sports Complex Committee and Hollis Community Day needs volunteers now! Please contact Debbie Tefft at Parks and Rec for more information.
 
- We are currently seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant for the Parks and Recreation Department. This is a part-time position up to 19 hours a week. Please see website announcement or yesterday's Smart Shopper for details on how to apply, or e-mail Bennet Flinner at adminsecretary@hollismaine.org.
 
-Tour De Cure bike race benefiting the American Diabetes Association will bring many cyclists through Hollis this Sunday, June 11th. Please be mindful of bikers on the roadways from 7:00am-3:00pm.
 
4. Other Business - River Payne thanked everyone who supported her during her term on the Select Board and encourages young people, especially women to volunteer in our Town.  Mike Seely stated that it has been a pleasure to work with River, especially with General Assistance and the Comp plan.  Roger Hicks thanked River for her service and commitment to our Town.
