Bobbie Storman of New Hampshire said that she and her family are exploring options in Maine for starting a midsize Cannibus farm. They would add other crops once cannibus was well established. She was looking for municipal approval to add Hollis to their list of Towns for possible business. She provided the Select Board and public with a plan pamphlet. She wanted to know how the Select Board foresee businesses like this in the future. Seely indicated that they are awaiting State Law then present options to the Town at that time. Storman asked about a flower shop and Seely told her to contact the CEO and Planning Board for a conditional use permit application and public hearing.

Rita Anderson asked that the Select Board advertise the EMS program more agressively in the Rec newsletter and Smart Shopper near Christmas time. The Select Board said they would consider it.

Vera Littlefield asked what a person would have to do to be told they couldn't be on a Town board anymore, it was a rumor she heard. Seely responded that he doesn't address rumors. Rita Anderson said that in the past people weren't allowed to be on more than one board at a time. Anderson then asked why the Select Board sits at so many board and committee meetings. Seely responded that the Select Board members serve as resources at those meetings and they do not sit on any board or committee. Seely and Perron agree that the policy states that a resident cannot be one more than one board at a time.

No decisions were made during this item.
