UPDATE FOR PROPERTY TAX BILLS 2023-24 & TAX COMMITMENT

Attention Hollis Tax Payers:
Due in part to complications with the Senior Property Tax Stabilization Program also known as LD290 and a decrease in our mill rate, the review of changes for hundreds of eligible seniors required due diligence and extra time. Tax bills will be mailed out today, 10/23/2023. Due date remains set for 11/1/2023. Interest does not commence until 11/15/2023. Access to 2023-24 Tax Bills is available on our town website on our home page under the "On-line Tax Bills & Data" link.
The tax commitment was set on 10/11/2023 with the mill rate set at $14.50 per thousand, and interest is at 8% per annum commencing on 11/15/2023 and 05/15/2024.
