Minutes for Select Board Untelevised Meeting
October 5, 2016, 5:00PM
Attendees:Select Board Members- River Payne, Roger Hicks, Mike Seely Sr.; Administrative Assistant: Bennet Flinner; Residents: Rita Anderson, Bev Harris, Nancy Conway, Vera Littlefield
Maintenance Worker - SB has received 2 applications thus far. The SB expects to begin the hiring process when the position deadline ends October 18, 2016.
New Fire Tank Truck: Roger will give an update at 7:00PM meeting regarding the commissioning of the new fire truck.
New business in Hollis: The Fox and Hound Cafe, will open this Saturday at 5am at 415 Hollis Road (old Don's Market/Station House Grill). Open for breakfast and lunch until 2pm daily. Bennet will add to correspondence of 7:00PM meeting.
Paul Mattor of the Planning Board was unable to attend and will reschedule time with SB at a subsequent meeting.
Select Board went into Executive Session pursuant to Title 1 M.R.S. §405(6)(A) to discuss a personnel matter. Meeting opened by Bennet Flinner at 5:30PM and doors were closed. Attendees: Mike Seely, Sr.and Roger Hicks. Executive Session adjorned at 5:56PM.
Select Board meeting was reopened by Mike Seely, Sr. at 6:00PM to take a vote regarding the findings of a personnel investigation. On the motion of Hicks/Seely, the SB approved to adopt the findings and conclusions prepared by Seely, on behalf of the Select Board dated October 5, 2016. The document was adopted by the SB as its final written decision. SB meeting adjourned at 6:03PM on the motion of Seely/Hicks.
