DRAFT MINUTES FOR SELECT BOARD MEETING

Wednesday, April 12, 2023 - 4:00PM at the Hollis Select Board Office

Attendees: Select Board members –John Rogala, Mary Hoffman; Via Zoom – David McCubrey; Select Board Office Asst. Bennet Flinner;  Public – none

1.   Meeting called to order by Hoffman at 4:02PM.

2.   Review and vote on remaining articles for June 13, 2023 Annual Town Meeting:

            a. Prior tabled Article #13 recommendation vote – "Shall the Town raise appropriate and expend up to $35,150 for the non-municipal Hollis Center Public Library?" Note: This article is from a Citizen Petition.   On the motion of McCubrey and Rogala, the board does not recommend article 13 as written. No discussion. Passed 3-0.

            b. Prior tabled Article #25 warrant vote – "Is the Town in favor of ceasing allowance of cluster housing subdivisions?"  On the motion of Hoffman and Rogala, the board added article 25 on the warrant as written. No discussion. Passed 3-0. "

            c. Prior tabled Article #26  warrant and recommendation votes - "To see if the Town pursuant to 23 M.R.S.A. § 3025 will vote to accept the dedication made by Totem Pines Homeowners Association of an easement interest in a strip of land bounded and described as follows: Totem Pines Drive, and to accept and establish a Town way on said strip of land?"    On the motion of Hoffman and Rogala, the board added article 26 on warrant as written. No discussion. Passed 3-0.  On the motion of Hoffman and McCubrey, the board recommends the article as written. Passed 3-0.

3.   Other Business - None

4.   Public Comment – On the motion of Hoffman and McCubrey the board adjourned meeting at 4:11pm. Passed 3-0.
