MINUTES FOR SELECT BOARD PUBLIC AND ZOOM MEETING

Wednesday, July 20, 2022 - 7:00PM at the Hollis Community Building

Attendees: Select Board Members - Dave McCubrey, John Rogala and Mary Hoffman; Becky Bowley, Tiffany Dean and Ken Knudsen

1.    Call to Order

2.    Old Business

a. Opening of Snow and Ice Control Bids - One bid was received, opened by McCubrey. Read by Rogala - Bid received from RMDL, Inc. bid price $549,876.54  

3.   New Business

a.  Payroll and Warrant Totals: Payroll last week $42,827, Payroll this week $19,460, Warrant last week $62,194, Warrant this week $501,340.

         b.  Purchase Orders:

• #4154 to Bowl-a-rama for Summer Rec field trip not to exceed $910.00;
• #4147 to RMDL, Inc. for grading dirt roads 60 hours not to exceed $7,200 under highway acct;
• #4148 to Dearborn Construction for materials for grading dirt roads, shouldering washouts, etc not to exceed $8,500;
• #4149 to RMDL for Haul materials from Dearborn for dirt roads washouts, etc. not to exceed $4,000 under highway acct;
• #4150 to RMDL Inc. for Repairs and patching not to exceed $5000 under highway acct;
• #4151 to White Signs for Road Signs as needed not to exceed $5,000 under highway acct;
• #4152 to RMDL, Inc. for Mowing shoulders of Town roads 80 hrs not to exceed $7,200;
• #4153 to RMDL, Inc. for miscellaneous emergency work, labor and equipment, washouts, storm damage, etc. not to exceed $5,000 under highway acct;

4.   Other Business:   

• We are looking for volunteers for Community Day on Aug. 13th. FMI Please call Debbie Tefft 929-5142.
• We also need volunteers for Finance Committee and Planning Board. FMI visit our website for application in News and Announcements.
• Bar Mills Decommissioning Public Hearing with Brookfield will be held at Buxton Town Hall on Aug. 2, 2022 at 5PM.

5.   Upcoming Committee and Board Meetings

• Conservation Commission Meeting on Thursday, July 21st at 5:30 PM
• Planning Board Site Visit and Public Hearing with  Poland Spring to be held on Wed. Aug. 10th 5pm (site visit) and 7pm (public hearing at the Community Building).
