10.21.2015 7PM Hollis Select Board Meeting (televised)

In attendance: Select Board members River Payne and  Roger Hicks , Chairperson David McCubrey, Fire Chief Jason Johnson,  Glenda O Brien – Poland Spring Hollis Plant Manager , Chris Haynes , Poland Spring Logistics Manager, a Western Express representative, and members of the general public.

Upcoming Sate Referendum Election on 11.3.2015.

Chief Jason Johnson opened up fire truck bids. An RFP was sent out to ten vendors and two vendors replied.
                1. Auto Tronics $365,000 for chassis A or $354,500 Chassis B.
                2.  New England Fire Apparatus $428, 457.00
 The Town approved an expenditure of up to $380,000. For a new fire truck.  The Fire Truck Committee will evaluate these proposals and come to the Select Board with a recommendation at a later date.

 Guests tonight were Glenda O Brien- Poland Spring Hollis Plant Manager and Chris Haynes Regional Logistics Manager Poland Spring.  They each presented an update. Poland Spring has three plants in Maine and has been in Hollis for 15 years.
