MINUTES FOR TELEVISED HOLLIS SELECT BOARD MEETING

Wednesday, January 2, 2019, 7:00PM at the Hollis Community Building

Attendees: David McCubrey, Rita Perron, Jack Rogala, Bennet Flinner, Faith Plummer, Martha Turner, John Rondeau, Kathy Harriman, Bev Harris, Linda Bradbury, Terry Walters,  Jean McInnis, Vera Littlefield

1. Meeting called to order by McCubrey at 7:00pm.

2. Old Business

     a. Hollis Christmas Fund - Faith Plummer spoke on the behalf of the committee and thanked all the donators and for all the donations made toward 55 families in need. Gifts, clothes, for ages 7 months to 17 years old were provided. McCubrey thanked Faith for her commitment and hard work in this program and also thanked all the volunteers that helped with this cause.

     b. Safety grant from MMA - McCubrey recognized a safety grant received from MMA that was applied by the Code Enforcement Officer. The Town received $1,918 in funds for ergonically safe furniture and accessories for Town Hall.

3. New Business

    a. Policy #3 – Facility Use: On the motion of McCubrey and Rogala, the Select Board approved use of the Community Building by the TOPS group for meetings in January and February with fees waived. Passed 3-0.  Select Board will work on the current policy and provide an update in the future.

    b. Weekly Warrant and Payroll: Warrant last week- $42,578, Warrant this week - $83,039; Payroll this week - $24,334, Payroll last week - $11,692

    c. Purchase Orders: #3757 for RMDL under Highway. For 10 days of cutting and chipping brush on Town Roads. Not to exceed $13,680.  #3756 for Physio Control under Hollis FD/EMS. For 4G modem for lifepak cardiac monitors and transferring data of patient care reports. Not to exceed $2,000.

    d. Correspondence

There will be a Rabies Clinic for dogs, cats and other small animals on Saturday, January 5th from 9am-1pm at Andy’s Agway in Dayton.  $10.00 per animal, dogs on leashes and other animals in carriers. Vet services by Dr. Claire Tusch. FMI call 282-2998.

8.  On the motion of Perron and Rogala, the board adjourned the meeting at 8:03pm. Passed 3-0.
