TELEVISED SELECT BOARD MEETING

3.28.18, 5PM at Community Building

Attendees: Roger Hicks, Mike Seely, Sr. Rita Perron, Bennet Flinner, John Rondeau, Rita Anderson, Bev Harris

1. Meeting called to order at 5:04pm by Hicks.

2. Old Business

     a. Community Building Phase 2 Project Contract: Perron reports that the contract has been rewritten by our Owner's Rep and the updated contract is $423,150.00 ($20,000 is contingency).  On the motion of Seely/Hicks the Select Board approved and signed the contract with DiMatteo Construction for Community Building project -  Phase 2. Passed 3-0-0.Select Board reports they reviewed the contract in depth prior to making decision. 

     b. On the motion of Seely/Perron the Select Board approved and accepted the contract and commitment letter for the $3M Road Bond with Maine Municipal Bond Bank. Letter signed by all members of the Select Board and Treasurer. Motion Passed 3-0-0. Letter read aloud by Hicks prior to voting.

3. New Business

     a. Select Board appointed the Warden for June 12, 2018 Election, Lila Wilkins. Re-appointed the CEO, Building Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Electrical Inspector, E911 Addressing Officer Bob Cyr until April 1, 2019.

4. Other Business: Town Clerk announced that Nomination Papers are available at the Town Hall, they are due on Friday, April 13, 2018.  Town Clerk's office will be closing on April 11, 2018 at 2:30pm for Rank Choice Voting Training.  

5. Public Comments - No decisions made during this item.

6. On the motion of Seely/Perron, Select Board adjourned the meeting at 5:23PM.
