TELEVISED SELECT BOARD MEETING

5PM April 25, 2018 at the Hollis Town Hall

Attendees: Roger Hicks, Mike Seely, Sr. Rita Perron, Martha Huff, Bennet Flinner, Rita Anderson.

2. Old Business

    a. Warrant for 6.12.18 Annual Town Meeting.  Hicks reports that the only item on agenda tonight is accepting and signing the final warrant. He reports that he updated Article 11 by removing the previous years and made a motion to remove Article 14. Perron seconded the motion and moved to discuss. Hicks explained that the article 14 was removed based on public feedback and issues with the ordinance itself. Perron agreed with Hicks and asked if the article can stay on the warrant and they can form a committee for a 5-member Select Board form of government instead. 

Martha Huff stated that if the Town changes the form of government, it won't take place until June 2019, if voted on in June or November 2018.  Any form of government change should be an ordinance so it will not need to be voted on every year. Discussion closed.

On motion of Hicks/Perron the Select Board approved and signed the warrant for the June 12 2018 Annual Town Meeting. Passed 2-1. Hicks and Perron for, Seely against.

3. Select Board recognized Bennet Flinner for Administrative Assistant's day and presented her with a thank you card and generous gift card to River Tap and Grill. 

4. On the motion of Seely/Hicks, the meeting adjourned at 5:12PM.
