MINUTES FOR TELEVISED SELECT BOARD MEETING

Wednesday, May 9, 2018 5:00PM at the Hollis Town Hall

Attendees: Roger Hicks, Mike Seely, Sr., Rita Perron, John Rondeau, Rita Anderson, Bev Harris.

1. Meeting called to order at 5:00PM.

2. Old Business

    a. Opening of Bids for Sand Pond Road reconstruction project received by May 2, 2018. First bid received by Pike Industries for $1,886,584.  Second bid received by Shaw Brothers for $1,370,551.50. On the motion of Seely/Perron, the Select Board accepted both bids and will be reviewed at length by Select Board and Sebago Technics to make sure they are in compliance with the bid requirements. Sebago Technics will then make a recommendation of awardment to the Select Board. 

    b. Municipal Officer's certifications of official text of proposed ordinances: Select Board signed the certifications for the Naming and Numbering of Roads Ordinance, Mailbox Ordinance, Emergency Medical Subscription Program Ordinance, and Hollis Planning Board Ordinance.

    c. Reminder: Public Hearing on June Warrant and proposed ordinances and ordinance changes Wednesday, May 16, 2018 7PM at the Community Building.

3. New Business

    a. Appointments: Select Board appointed election and ballot clerks for the June 12, 2018 election for a term of 2 years, also appointed Ecomaine representative Len VanGaasbeek and alternate, Rita Perron. 

4. Other Business - Reminder that on Sand Pond Road on Monday and Tuesday May 15-16 will have tree cutting work done and road will be closed to thru traffic. Please expect delays/closures.

5. Public Comments - No decisions were made during this item.

6. On the motion of Seely/Perron, meeting was adjourned at 5:20PM.
