MINUTES FOR TELEVISED SELECT BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, August 8, 2018 5:00PM at the Community Building

Attendees: Select Board members - David McCubrey, Rita Perron; Code Enforcement Officer Tammy Munson; Admin. Asst. Bennet Flinner; Camera operator John Rondeau: Public: Rita Anderson.
 
1. Meeting called to order at 5:00pm by McCubrey

2. Old Business

    a.   Town Hall Move:  The Town Hall offices have moved to the Community Building in the great room. It is working well so far and will be up for 3 weeks while the Town Hall structural repair is completed.  A few meetings will be held at the Hollis Fire Department, website will be updated.

    b.   Board and Committee appointments/oaths: Perron reminded members to come in for updated oaths for their appointments.

    c.   Roads update:  McCubrey reports that the RFPs have been sent out to interested parties on the Road contract. Public can contact Sebago Technics for additional information.

          Sand Pond Road: Fairpoint and Spectrum wires need to be removed from poles before Shaw Bros can continue their work.  The state is working with them to get this completed ASAP, hopefully they can start work next week removing the poles.


3. New Business

    a. Liquor license renewal for Salmon Falls Country Club/River Tap and Grill:  On the motion of McCubrey and Perron, the board approved and signed the liquor license renewal for Salmon Falls Country Club and River Tap and Grill. Passed 2-0.

    b. Purchase Orders: PO for the digitization of Code Enforcement files, Conditional Use Permits and Subdivision files. Not to exceed $14,000. On the motion of Perron and McCubrey, the board approved and signed the PO. Passed 2-0.


4. Other Business: There is a Select Board vacancy and a Planning Board vacancy.  Paperwork must be submitted by Sept. 7th for the Select Board member. If you are interested in the Planning Board, please contact Bennet Flinner or Martha Turner.

On the behalf of the Select Board, McCubrey sends condolences to the family and friends of resident Meg Gardner.  He thanked Meg for her service on the many boards she has sat on in Hollis and her great involvement in Buxton-Hollis Historical Society.


5. Public Comments: None


6. On the motion of McCubrey and Perron, the board adjourned the meeting at 5:18pm. Passed 2-0.
