Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Officer also serves as the Building, Plumbing, and Electrical Inspector for the Town of Hollis. He is responsible for ensuring that all building, zoning, and safety issues are adhered to as they relate to existing and current construction in accordance with all Federal, State, Maine Uniform Building Code, and Local Laws and Ordinances. The Code Enforcement Officer also serves as the Town’s 911 Addressing Officer. If  you have questions or concerns about any of these issues, the Code Enforcement Officer welcomes the opportunity to speak with you about them and can answer any questions you may have.

The CEO's Administrative Clerk is available in the Code Enforcement Office to answer general questions, provide code file information, accept applications and issue completed permits during the following schedule:


Monday - CLOSED

Tuesday -  12:00PM - 4:00PM

Wednesday - 4:00PM - 8:00PM

Thursday -  12:00PM - 4:00PM

Friday - 12:00PM - 4:00PM
