REQUEST FOR QUOTES – REBUILD UPPER TARBOX ROAD

 

The Town of Hollis is seeking quotes for the rebuild of Upper Tarbox Road in Hollis. The roadway is located between Pleasant Hill Road and Rt. 117 Cape Road.

It will be the responsibility of the Company submitting the quote to conduct their own measurements.

The rebuild will include both intersections with Cape Road and Pleasant Hill Road.

There are 20 Driveway aprons with a 1 foot minimum and butt joints to be included with the Surface pavement quote.

The rebuild will be to reclaim 4,825 feet by 20 feet wide including both intersections.

Second to reclaim with cement to include rough grade and fine grade ready to pave.

Base pave minimum 2” 19mm.

Finish surface pavement 1” with 9.5mm.

Tack coat between layers cement and base coat and base coat and finish surface pavement.

Two foot wide gravel shouldering.

All work to be completed by Maine DOT specifications.

The Town of Hollis reserves the right to reject any or all bids.  All quotes must be received by 4:00 PM on October 10, 2017. They will be opened at the 5:00 PM Hollis Select Board meeting on October 11, 2017.  Please submit bids in a sealed envelope labeled “Rebuild Upper Tarbox Road Quote” to:
