7.13.17 Select Board Executive Session Minutes

The Hollis Select Board Meeting was opened at 10:00 AM in the office of the Town Attorney, Mary Costigan at Bernstein Shur in Portland, Maine by Select Board Chair, Roger Hicks.  A motion was made to suspend the Select Board Meeting and go into Executive Session under Title 1 M.R.S. §405(6)(A) to discuss a personnel matter and Title 1 M.R.S. §405(6)(E) to discuss a legal matter. Motioned carried and Executive Session was opened by Hicks at 10:07am.  Present during the meeting:  Roger Hicks, Mike Seely, Sr, Rita Perron and Town Attorney Mary Costigan, Esq.  The Select Board and Attorney Costigan shared information regarding a personnel matter and a separate legal matter. The Executive Session ended at 10:21AM and the Select Board meeting was reconvened immediately following.  The following personnel were present for the Select Board meeting: Roger Hicks, Mike Seely, Sr., Rita Perron, Robert Cyr, Mary Costigan, Esq., and Shana Cook Mueller, Esq.  Mike Seely, Sr., made a motion to have Town Attorney Shana Cook Mueller, Esq. take the lead in gathering information regarding Municipality Bonds for the Select Board to make a decision on where the Bond should be obtained in the best interest of the Town.  Shana Cook Mueller is the Town Attorney expert of Municipal Bonds.  She will provide legal assistance from start to finish in regards to the $3M Road Bond passed by the Town on June 14, 2017. The Select Board voted all in favor and the motion passed. Select Board meeting adjourned at 11:35PM.
