AGENDA FOR SELECT BOARD MEETING & PUBLIC HEARING

Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - 7:00PM at the Hollis Community Building

1.   Call to Order

2.    Motion and vote to suspend the Select Board meeting and open the Public Hearing for the renewal of a Medical Cannabis Retail Store license for Todd Hurtubise at Hollis Medication Station.

3.   Motion and vote to Close Public Hearing and reconvene Select Board meeting.

4.   Vote for renewal of Medical Cannabis Retail Store license for Todd Hurtubise at Hollis Medication Station.

5.   Thank you to RMDL road crew & slideshow photo presentation of damages during April 4-6 storm.

6.   Old Business

              a.    Motion and vote to set Public Hearing for June 11, 2024 Annual Town Meeting warrant and proposed ordinances & ordinance changes (May 15, 2024 @ 7PM in the Community Building).

              b.    5 Member Select Board/Town Manager Form of Government Ordinance Committee                       

7.   New Business          

              a.    Request for proposals – Owner’s Rep for New Town Hall project. Vote & set due date

              b.    Rescue fees forgiveness request - Vote

              c.    Payroll and Warrant Totals

              d.    Purchase Orders

              e.   Correspondence: 

  • Earth Day Celebration at the Sports Complex on Sunday, April 21st from 9AM to 4PM, sponsored by the Hollis Conservation Commission and the Sports Complex Committee.
  • A reminder that the MSAD 6 School budget presentation and review will be held here in the Hollis Community Building on Wednesday, May 1st at 7PM.
  • A presentation by the Town’s Auditor,Ron Smith will also be held on Wednesday May 1st at 7PM.
  • There will be a presentation of the proposed New Town Hall building on Wednesday, May 15th at 7PM by Great Falls Construction
  • There will be a FREE turkey dinner for Senior Citizens of MSAD 6 at the Bonny Eagle High School cafeteria on Thursday, May 16th at 4:30pm. RSVP by calling Sarah at 207-929-2312.
