MINUTES FOR TELEVISED & ZOOM HOLLIS SELECT BOARD MEETING

Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 7:00PM at the Hollis Community Building

Attendees: Mary Hoffman, Bennet Flinner, Martha Huff, Tiffany Dean, Ken Knudsen, Don Marean, Becky Bowley, Beverly Harris, Paul Mattor, Nathan Carlow, Clay Gleason, Eric Kuntz. Guests - MSAD 6 Superintendent Paul Penna and Business Mgr Bill Brockman.

1.   Meeting called to order at 7pm by Hoffman. 

2.   Covid outbreak at Town Hall - Service Window is temporarily open for safety.  Thank you for your patience.  Hoffman thanked Chris Young for assisting in testing Town employees and their family members for Covid 19.

3.   Reminder that first half of Property Taxes are currently due. Interest will commense on May 18th. To look up your tax bill amount, go to our website www.hollismaine.org and click the link "On-line Tax Bills and Data" on our Home page. Or call Tax Collector Anna McClay at 929-8552 ext 16. 

4.   Election Updates - Martha Huff, Town Clerk: There are no contested races in Hollis for Select Board, Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Road Commissioner. Public asked about political signs - Huff indicated signs must be 250ft away from voting place.

5.   Upcoming Committee and Board Meetings:  There are no Planning Board meetings scheduled for May. Hollis Sports Complex Committee will be meeting Thursday, May 5 at 7:00pm; Conservation Commission is meeting on Thursday, May 19 at 5:30pm; Next Select Board meeting will be on Wednesday, May 18 at 7:00pm.

6.   MSAD 6 Budget Presentation & Review with Superintendent Paul Penna and Bill Brockman, Business Mgr. began at 7:30pm. Video of public comments and meeting can be watched beginning at 40:00 minutes.
